started my Real Estate career as an agent in the Chico area in 1976.
A year later I was promoted to Relocation Director for the company,
and four years after that, to Financial Director for a real estate
Corporation in the same area. While I enjoyed the challenges of
these new positions I continued with my first love – a real estate
agent, helping my clients achieve their dreams.
In 1986 my family and I moved back to Yreka, where
I am a 4th generation resident. We came back to Yreka primarily
because we wanted our children to grow up in a peaceful, small town
atmosphere. It has proved to be an excellent choice!
Initially I worked as a loan officer for Gibraltar
Saving, then two years later returned to sales, and obtained my
brokers license. In 1991 I opened Heritage Properties and bought out
the existing Re/max office in 2000, combining the two offices.
I have always believed that my clients come first
and my job is to negotiate the best deal possible, to look at each
transaction from every angle to see if it still makes sense. I put
all my years in the business, as well as my deep knowledge of this

I am a full-time real estate professional and have
been licensed since 1976. I have lived in the Yreka area since 1961.
I have been a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar
Club for the past 20 years. I was the Top Producer for Re/Max Yreka
for 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. I am very involved in our local
community. I have been President of the Yreka Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors for three full years and Vice President for two
more years. I am on the Board of Directors for our local hospital,
“The Fairchild Medical Center”, and on the Board of Directors of the
Yreka Rotary for four years.

I moved to Siskiyou County in 1960, from L.A.. At the time I was
employed by Youngs Mkt. Co. as a salesman. After retiring in 1992 I
obtained my real estate license and went to work for Heritage
Properties. In 2000, Heritage Properties bought out RE/MAX and we
combined the two offices. I have a very large referral base from my
past business which helps me to serve my clients. A great addition
to this is the RE/MAX International Franchise network which provides
connections anywhere in the world.

Many of those who actually stop and read this
will wonder, where is this place? Siskiyou County is at the top
of California on the border with Oregon, nice open country. The
City of Yreka is on Interstate 5 about half way between Redding,
California and Medford, Oregon. Look for our landmark, Mt.
Shasta on the map. If you are still reading this, I could tell
you my life story, but I don’t believe it is relevant to what I
do. I am a Realtor. I have spent many years in the business
trying to help people with real estate transactions. It doesn’t
matter if they are a first time homebuyer struggling to buy
their dream or a commercial transaction involving groups of
investors and complicated, protracted negotiations. I work to
get things done as fair and balanced as I can for all involved.
Trust has a lot to do with this business. I have dealt with
ranchers on a handshake, represented Buyers at private auctions
involving large sums of their money. Currently I am marketing a
new subdivision of custom homes in Yreka for a group of

While in the Bay Area I worked for Carl Zeiss Meditec, and moved up from temporary employee to the Inventory Controller responsible for Millions of dollars of inventory. I returned to Yreka in 2006 to care for a sick family member, and have hit the ground running in Real Estate. I have been a part of dozens transactions in my first year in real estate, and my passion is working with first time home buyers.
